2026 College Showcase - Nov. 27 at The Max in McCook (1st Ave. and I-55)

Registration opens at 12 pm on Sunday, Sept. 27.

Limited spots available to control roster sizes. When all spots fill, registration closes. Event fills every year. There are NO walk-ins. Player will receive email within 24 hours of registration to confirm which date they would like to play in.

EVENT FORMAT: Girls compete in the morning (approximately 2.5-3 hours) and boys in the afternoon (approximately 2.5-3 hours). Players are divided into Rising Stars (FR/SO) and Senior Stars (JR/SR). Goalkeepers receive game action plus a specialized combine led by Stan Anderson of Camp Shutout.

WHAT EVERY PLAYER RECEIVES: Minimum 3 games and 100+ minutes of playing time, using both 7-v-7 and 10-v-10 formats to give college coaches different opportunities to evaluate players in space. Registration also includes a game jersey, National Scouting Combine testing/results, online and college-coach player profile, insurance, athletic trainer, college information session and BODYARMOR products. Games are played on new, state-of-the-art turf and regular cleats are permitted.

COLLEGE EXPOSURE: More than 100 college coaches representing D-I, D-II, D-III, NAIA and JUCO programs attended last year's event, including schools from Illinois, Missouri, Ohio, Indiana, Wisconsin, Iowa and Nebraska. Coaches value the one-day, one-site format because they can evaluate multiple players and games in one location.

COLLEGE INFO SESSION: Past speakers have included Bradley University coach/former MLS player Tim Regan (recruiting), Chicago Fire nutritionist/former Notre Dame and Chicago Red Stars player Michele Fumagalli (self-care), retired Naperville detective Rich Wistocki (social media) and U.S. World Cup/Atlanta United goalkeeper Brad Guzan (preps to pros).

MORE THAN JUST GAMES: The event is run by volunteers, including many event alumni. After event expenses, remaining proceeds benefit Buddy's HELPERS 501(c)(3) and its “Making A Difference On AND Off The Field” campaign. This year's Showcase will specifically support the WGN Toy Drive LIVE on Dec. 11, 2026. Families will receive a tax-deductible receipt where applicable.

Same cost since 2010 — 16 years and counting. Student-athletes who compete in our fall or spring high school events also receive a $25 discount, thanks to an annual donation from the Sylves Family, a BODYARMOR Series alumni family. All players/families will receive tax-donation letter.

OPTIONAL PLAYER EXTRAS: Families may add an event T-shirt, long-sleeve shirt or crew sweatshirt; a professionally written player feature for the program and online; or a 6-foot × 3-foot life-size player poster photographed by Sports Illustrated photographer Robin Alam — a popular keepsake for graduation parties and lifelong memories.

REGISTRATION/REFUND POLICY: Registration is limited and closes immediately when all spots are filled. No walk-ins. Because merchandise and Toy Drive purchases are made in advance, there are no refunds after Nov. 1 unless a waitlisted player fills the opening. If a late withdrawal is necessary, families will have alternative options so they do not lose the full value of their registration and at times will surpass the value to ensure everyone is taken care of.

Registered families will receive event information/reminders on Nov. 1 and Nov. 15. You receive an email to pick which date you would like to play 24 hours after registration.

If payment plan is needed, there is an option. All players/families will receive tax-donation letter.
