2024-25 theme: “Thanking YOU.” The event is built around self care and Making A Difference On AND Off The Field. Gratitude is a BIG piece of self care.

2024 Hall of Fame Inductees: Paul Labbato (coach, Lyons, 2003); Guy Calipari (coach, Wheaton South, 2003); Kevin Fitzgerald (coach, Plainfield Central, 2003); Tim Spiegel (coach, Maine South, 2003); Lynn and Scott Magnesen (volunteers, 2005); Brian Papa (coach, Lincoln-Way East/Downers North, 2003); Adrian Calleros (coach, Mount Carmel/Solorio, 2005); and Dan Hussey (coach, Fenwick, 2007). Bob Narang is writing feature stories on each one, and the Hall of Fame large banner will hang on Opening Day and Championship Sunday. A Hall of Fame page will launch online.

2025 seeding and schedule: Like always, teams will have the first two weeks to play into seeds. Coaches will receive a tentative schedule by 12 pm Monday, March 31. The final schedule will be released at 10 pm on Tuesday, April 1. Reminder: All teams will play on April 12 (Waukegan Sports Park) and April 14 (home/away). Championship Sunday, due to Easter, is April 27 this year.
